Every year, in Maharashtra, there is a big celebration of Gauri during Ganeshotsav - Known as Jyeshtha and Kanishtha. They are dressed like typical-traditional Maharashtrian woman, complete with all traditional ornaments, saree and a Nath (Nose ring). Many traditional delicacies are prepared for the Prasada. I really love to visit these places and watch the beauty one has never seen before.
